Advancing Equity, Building Community
The Reggie Stephens Foundation is honored to be part of the Rise Together 2025 Cohort through the Community Foundation! This incredible initiative brings together a coalition of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) leaders dedicated to advancing racial equity and creating meaningful change in Santa Cruz County.
What Is Rise Together?
Rise Together began in the summer of 2020 as a grassroots effort to address racial inequities and has since grown into a powerful force for community transformation. Now in its fifth year, the coalition has made significant strides, distributing $1.3 million in grants to support equity-driven programs. These grants, made possible by generous community donors and foundations, continue to fund critical work in education, athletics, arts, and leadership development.
Reggie Stephens Foundation’s Role
At the Reggie Stephens Foundation (RSF), our mission aligns seamlessly with Rise Together’s goals. Through our work in sports, education, arts, and culture, we empower young student-athletes, promote leadership, and provide opportunities for youth to Seek, Believe, and Achieve. Being part of this cohort allows us to expand our impact, collaborate with other passionate leaders, and ensure a brighter future for the next generation.
