Empowering Youth Through Education and Athletics: Support RSF via Santa Cruz Gives
At the Reggie Stephens Foundation (RSF), we’re on a mission to transform lives by combining the power of sports with educational opportunities. This year, in partnership with Santa Cruz Gives, we’re raising funds to expand our impact on the youth in our community. Together, we can pave the way for student-athletes to succeed both on and off the field.
From November 20th to December 31st, we invite you to be a part of this movement by donating through santacruzgives.org/rsf. Your contribution will directly support two groundbreaking initiatives:
- The RSF All-Star Girls Flag Football Tournament, empowering young women to break barriers in sports.
- Educational programs, including pathways to Morgan State University and other Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), scholarships, and skill development for success beyond high school.
Building Futures: The Impact of Your Support
Since starting with just 60 kids in 2018, RSF has grown to serve over 300 youth in 2024 through a range of programs, including scholarships, free speed and agility training, and college readiness support.
- Pathways to HBCUs: In 2024, we proudly took three student-athletes to visit Morgan State University, inspiring them to dream big and pursue higher education. Next year, we aim to take five youth and three adult chaperones on this life-changing trip, with a goal to raise $15,000 to $20,000 for travel and related expenses.
- Scholarships: RSF has awarded over five scholarships per year, helping students secure walk-on opportunities and scholarships while building their confidence to thrive academically. In 2024, we plan to provide $1000 scholarships to 10 deserving kids and families in need.
How You Can Help
