The youth of Santa Cruz City, County and beyond have unlimited potential. We don’t want to take that for granted, we want to ensure our youth has a shot at making their dreams reality.
Here at the Reggie Stephens Foundation, we are always looking for our communities support and assistance. Whether it be a donation or your volunteering, we could always use your support in making this organization better and more effective.
Through our diverse programs in sports, arts, education, and culture, we aim to instill the values of hard work, teamwork, and dedication, empowering kids to become better, successful individuals.

I’m especially grateful to share this recognition with two of my mentors—the late Tony Hill, who taught me invaluable lessons that guide me to this day, and Don Williams, whose wisdom and support continue to inspire me.
I’ll continue to put in the work for the Santa Cruz community through the Reggie Stephens Foundation (RSF) — Seek. Believe. Achieve.

Join Reggie Stephens on an unforgettable journey through Mexico City as he connects music, culture, and community during an international press run for his latest project “Black Man in Mexico” and Margarito 2 with The Collective Root. In just 6 days, Reggie was featured in over 50 major interviews across TV, radio, newspapers, and podcasts, amplifying a story rooted in ancestral rhythm, cross-cultural unity, and spiritual expression.
This musical movement blends hip-hop, Son Jarocho, and Afro-diasporic sounds, featuring collaborations with Los Cojolites, One Drop Scott, Bill Summers, Benito Cortez Padua, and Greg Landau. The project is more than just a sound, it’s a tribute to identity, connection, and honoring both African-American and Afro-Mexican roots.
🌍 This journey is part of the Reggie Stephens Foundation’s expanding mission to cover the cultural side of international work—bridging communities through sports, arts, education, and now global cultural exchange. As RSF continues to uplift youth at home, it also celebrates our shared roots abroad.
📍 Representing Santa Cruz, Louisiana, the Central Coast, and standing in solidarity with the people of Mexico City. 🙏🏾 Thank you, Mexico, for the love and open arms.

This past Saturday, July 26th, the Reggie Stephens Foundation hosted our 2nd Annual BBQ Fundraiser, and it was nothing short of amazing. We served up 1,500 plates of food, all in support of the local high school sports programs that joined in on this effort. It wasn’t just about the food—it was about community, teamwork, and showing up for our youth.
We want to thank everyone who gave their time, energy, and love to help make it happen. Whether you were behind the grill, packing meals, organizing pick-ups, or just spreading the word—you made a difference.
A special thank you to Marcus Northcutt for providing a platform that brings schools and RSF together for opportunities like this. And much love to Driscoll’s for always backing us—your support goes a long way.
We’re proud to do this the RSF way: supporting our schools, empowering our youth, and building community one plate at a time.
Seek. Believe. Achieve.

We’re building more than athletes — we’re building confidence, community, and future leaders.
Founded in honor of the late Helene R. Bouchard – athlete, mother, and co-owner of CrossFit Santa Cruz Central – the Helene R. Bouchard Scholarship aims to increase access to physical and emotional health for young female athletes in Santa Cruz County. Offered in partnership with CrossFit Santa Cruz Central owners Annie Sakamoto and Kelly Greco, this program enables high school girls to participate in a specialized CrossFit program focusing on foundational fitness principles, female mentorship, and personal resilience strategies to strengthen the body and the mind.
This initiative honors the legacy of Helene — an athlete, mother, and beloved community member — while expanding access to wellness and empowerment for young women.
The program is already in motion, with girls who play on flag football teams across Santa Cruz County showing up, getting stronger, and setting a powerful example
It was a blessing to take some of our RSF Sunday Session students from Santa Cruz County to the East Coast to visit some incredible HBCUs:
*Delaware State University
*University of Maryland Eastern Shores
*Hampton University
*Norfolk State University
*Coppin State University
*Morgan State University
*Howard University
Bowie State University
Students from Santa Cruz High, Scotts Valley, Aptos, Soquel, and North Salinas made the journey. Most of these students began with us through our Sunday Sessions program, putting in the work every week.
This trip was about showing them the possibilities for their futures, building their confidence, and helping them develop strong character. At RSF, we are proud to be a resource for Santa Cruz County students — helping them Seek, Believe, and Achieve their dreams.
Man… what a day! Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Reggie Stephens Foundation — we truly couldn’t do this without you.
All three games—Santa Cruz vs. Monterey—were full of energy, heart, and hustle. The players left it all on the court, and the coaches showed up with pride and purpose, representing their schools and communities in the best way.
To the fans, the staff, the volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event happen—thank you from the bottom of my heart. This game is more than just basketball. It’s about bringing people together, lifting up our youth, and showing what’s possible when we believe in each other. Here’s to year 12… and many more to come.
Seek. Believe. Achieve.
What started as a vision has grown into a movement. The Reggie Stephens Foundation (RSF) began with a simple mission—to uplift and support student-athletes through sports, mentorship, and opportunity. Over the years, we’ve watched kids grow from beginners to elite athletes, from young dreamers to leaders in their communities.
This video collage is a tribute to that journey—highlighting the dedication, hard work, and passion that has fueled our programs across football, basketball, girls’ flag football, speed & agility, and our legendary Sunday Sessions.
RSF has created a space where student-athletes from all schools in Santa Cruz County come together—not just to train, but to develop mental wellness, build confidence, and push each other to be better. Our Sunday Sessions have become a cornerstone of this mission, fostering a culture of unity, growth, and leadership that extends beyond sports.
RSF is more than sports—it’s a family, a legacy, and a promise to every athlete who walks through our doors.
To every athlete who has trained with us, grown with us, and achieved their goals—we celebrate YOU! To the coaches and staff who believe in the mission—we salute YOU!
